Maddy Carey, BSc (Hons) Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, Lic. Ac, AAC, FEA

Maddy Carey is a licensed acupuncturist and chinese medicine practitioner and founder of Aida Acupuncture.

Trained at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM), the largest and one of the most prestigious acupuncture college’s in the UK, with a BSc in Acupuncture (validated by the University College of Osteopathy).

Maddy uses an integrated approach to acupuncture, drawing on ancient TCM theory and combining with the more modern Five Element approach.

She has a background working in the music and event industry and understands how hard it is to balance health and wellbeing with a hectic lifestyle in the city.

With a BSc in Psychology, this combined with her acupuncture training she offers a supportive and holistic approach to mental-emotional issues.

Aida was developed to use traditional holistic acupuncture and apply to the issues of modern life - overwork, stress, bad diet, and sleep hygiene.

Aida Acupuncture integrates both TCM and Five Element styles to achieve the optimum results.

We truly believe that acupuncture is a truly complementary medicine and can be used alongside western medicine as well as other wellness modalities to support a well rounded lifestyle.

Our clinic is based in Dalston, Hackney - check out more information here.
